Living in the Moment
Living in the moment, learning from the past; paving the way today for today. As today is already the past and the future.

To Grow
Peel back the layers of life and you will see the desires... the longing of the heart. Sometimes the heart is reckless until it has found that which it has longed for.
We plant seeds in our life call relationships. Sometimes if the seeds are planted within the soil of faith, with an air of trust, a hope of light, watered with the essence of love, we will get roots of stability and strength. The relationship can really blossom and bring forth fruit.
Then there are times when the hurricane of distrust sweeps in and begin to uproot some stability and strength within the core of that tree... branches begin to snap from here and there rendering some part of the tree fragile. Tears of leaves begin to fall, and you begin to feel like the hurricane is really taken you apart. Compose yourself, stop shaking for a moment and you will realise that your roots are still planted in faith and the air of trust has returned as you rely on you and the hope in yourself beams even brighter and the essence of your love for self keeps you grounded with every fibre, molecule, tissue, cell, muscle to bring you into alignment with wholeness.
This is when you embrace yourself. The tears of leaves and the broken branches are like stripping yourself of negative thoughts and allowing the positivity to sprout once more.
Only positive thoughts- new growth will help to elevate one's state of being.

Death in Silence
as the rage in his eyes flickered like a fierce bolt of lightening
he pounced on her like a tiger on its prey
his hands crushed her like the teeth of a carnivore
tasting its first blood, adrenaline rushed to his head
he tore into her
bruised,
battered,
broken will,
impaled by the thorn of his infliction
paralyzed by anguish
as the cinders of brutality are about to claim her innocent life
black eyes,
broken bones,
from each acrimonious blow
her daughter’s tears,
a broken home
shredded hearts,
in fits of vehemence, a horrific solution
her memory flashed like a projected screen
reminding her when she didn't have to live with such fear
now it has faded with such rapidity
like the waves that erased the footprints in the sand
she tasted the blood that gargled in the back of her throat
dark clouds surrounded her
while tears escaped her swollen eyes
muffled prayers to God penetrated her mind to rescue her tormented soul
she's eager to live,
eager to grow old
eager to see her daughter's future unfold
but how could she,
when her prayers go unanswered
as she disembarked her earthly stature prematurely
